Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a dynamic and effective national student led organization that helps young men and women become leaders and address important personal, family, work and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences Education.
Through FCCLA students are able to participate in community projects led by the Panhandle FCCLA Chapter and STAR events (Students Taking Action with Recognition). In order to be apart of this organization, students must take at least one FCS (Family and Consumer Sciences) course.
The FCCLA advisor for the Panhandle FCCLA chapter is the Family and Consumer Sciences teacher, Venke Bertrand.
