I started my professional career as an assistant at Wayland Baptist where I coached the JV for two years and was also the varsity assistant.  Next, I coached/taught at Lockney JH/HS for two years.  Then we moved to Alvord where I coach CC, BB, and Track for 6 years.  This is my 10^th year in Panhandle where I am a teacher and coach.  Some of my duties include JH/HS Cross country, JH/HS Basketball, JH/HS Track, 6^th grade social studies, and any other hat I might be asked to wear.

I am married to Rob Schmucker for 18 years and we have 2 amazing boys...Luke is 15 and a Sophomore who plays football and basketball; he also runs track...James is 10 and a 4^th grader.
